New Village Green Signs

The Parish Council received an email concerning the village greens and dog walkers.

Briefly it was about dog owners are increasingly bringing dogs to foul regularly on the Green which leaves residual mess that can be missed when clearing up. Children often play there, creating a potential health risk. It’s important that there are no comments against dogs on the Green, but just general concern about those who use it as a regular toilet. The Parish Council was asked to consider placing signs to discourage this behaviour.

Many thanks to Councillor Colin Teare who has been working on replacing the old and damaged signs with new ones - these new signs are slightly different, with extra information to address the issue above.
