Jubilee Garden - Shout out to the Scouts

On the Parish council meeting in September there was a discussion about supporting the Scouts with their fundraising efforts.

The Parish council got in touch with the Scouts, asking whether they might be willing to help with some gardening in exchange for a donation. The work would focus on the Pump House and the Jubilee Garden in the village and would include weeding, planting, general tidy‑ups and seasonal watering.

After clarifying some details like commitment to how long they maintain the gardens/plantings, details regarding supply and storage - who supplies plants and equipment the Scouts agreed to begin works sometime in the new year after the weather gets better.
